A message to Jan from Louise Hay

Dear Janet,
Every year, I decide that the upcoming year is going to be my best ever! I encourage you to do the same. At 84, my life keeps getting more and more exciting. I continue learning new things and stretching. Where will you stretch this year?

I am delighted that my work continues to spread with your workshops and study groups. Patricia & Rick tell me that there are now Heal Your Life teachers in 47 countries and 32 states in the US, plus nine authorized trainers. This is wonderful! So many people are in fear these days. You are helping to change that consciousness.

Here are a few simple thoughts for you in 2011. Be willing to go beyond other peoples' limitations. Take some risks. Welcome more prosperity because you deserve it. And of course, love yourself even more.

Life loves you and so do I.
Louise

A message from Louise Hay

Dear Jan,
Congratulations on the one year anniversary of the Heal Your Life® licensing program. You have traveled great distances, either physically or inwardly, to be a part of the training by Dr. Patricia Crane and Rick Nichols.
I want to personally thank you for being inspired and moved to teach my message of self love to the world.
You know, when we aspire to heal others, we can't help but also heal our own lives in the process.

To do this work, you must be willing to deal with whatever may come up in your own lives in order to be able to teach others. I have no doubt in my mind that with the wonderful guidance of Dr. Crane and Rick Nichols, you are able to do just that.
Love is the great miracle cure. When we love ourselves, all areas of our life work. It warms my heart to know you are continuing to carry this important work to where it is needed most.

Life loves you and so do I.
Louise

Jan's Journey

After experiencing a lengthy series of personal and painful experiences, Jan Missens has succeeded in not only healing herself but earning certification to help others. Her new business venture It's OK to Be You, is based on the teachings and philosophy by Louise L. Hay.

"Many times throughout my life I felt like a victim and wondered 'why me?' I was at a particularly very low point in my life when, through the course of my work, I came across a leaflet entitled Love Yourself, Heal Your Life with information about a two day workshop," said Missens.

"I knew then that this was just what I had been looking for and I immediately signed up to attend. It was amazing, I realized and learned so much about myself. Most importantly, I realized how much I disapproved of myself, and came to the realization that I can love and accept myself just the way I am.

"Once that happened, everything else in my life started to fall into place - and it's a good feeling. I took those first steps to discover who I was and why I was the way that I was," said Missens.

By practicing the concepts of Louise Hay and by continuing affirmations, Missens says she is happy to accept herself exactly the way that she is and has a deeper understanding of herself and,'no longer asks 'why me?' instead says 'why not me?' . Missens' healing process continued through education including an Aboriginal Addictions diploma from the NECHI Institute in Edmonton.

"In 2002, I learned about a training program in Florida which I was determined to attend but for a variety of reasons wasn't able to until earlier this year. In April 2008, I had the opportunity to take the training in Florida and qualify as a Certified Heal Your Life-Achieve Your Dreams workshop leader. It was a dream come true for me," she said. The workshop accommodated 22 students from around the world who took the training based on Louise L. Hay, an acclaimed American author and publisher of You Can Heal Your Life.

"My goal is to help others through motivational training, seminars, workshops and presentations," she said. Since receiving her certification, Missens has begun to realize her goal and hosted her first workshop, recently, at PCTC. Seven participants from three different First Nation Communities attended and from the testimonials published, it was an enormous success. One participant testified that: "Change is hard, scary and it takes time. This workshop was the best thing I did to help me with change. It also helped me with my hurt, pain and past. It gave me the skills I need to live a happy, prosperous, non-stressful life. Jan, you were an awesome facilitator!" - Terra

"It was interesting to learn that I am actually the only aboriginal person, out of thousands of people trained all over the world, to take this training and become a certified Heal Your Life - Achieve Your Dreams workshop leader. I am confident that through my workshops I can empower others to overcome their negative mind set that has limited their success in business, education, careers, financial abundance, intimate relationships, spiritual growth, family and community relationships, and to begin the healing." she concluded.
